Sybil Mahenge Garnet and Diamond Cluster Ring
Named for the mystical oracles of ancient Greek legend, and reminiscent of the magical treasures unearthed in a great grandmother’s jewelry box, the Sybil cluster ring is a ring from another time. Made in a classic cluster setting with a modern twist, a saturated pink eye-clean Mahenge garnet is surrounded by a dozen recycled vintage/antique diamonds in a mix of brilliant and single cuts. The diamonds span from the 1920s-1980s, and are flush set, to reduce the number of prongs and create more light and airiness in the setting. The classic basket setting profile was kept intact, with each wire ending in a polished gold bead.
The setting is entirely hand fabricated using wire and sheet made in-studio, starting from recycled pure 24k gold grain.
