Anthemion Diamond Studs
This petite pair of everyday stud earrings is inspired by the ancient Greek and Roman decorative element known as an anthemion, a stylized palm frond or honeysuckle flower. Found in ancient pottery, architecture, and art, the anthemion is a ubiquitous element in the ancient Hellenistic world. Translated into a simple form in recycled 14k gold, and accented with recycled, vintage c. 1950s single cut diamonds, the Anthemion studs are an elegant and minimalist homage to a bygone era.
The settings are entirely hand fabricated using wire and sheet made in-studio, starting from recycled, pure 24k gold grain.
