About
About Moon Honey
Moon Honey is the intersection of my love for ancient jewelry, symbolism, history, and art. Born out of a lifelong love of antique jewelry, and an interest in ancient goldsmithing techniques, I strive to create pieces that connect the wearer to our shared cultural history of adornment.
Every piece is hand crafted in my Brooklyn studio, using various methods that span centuries and cultures, including lost wax casting and granulation, alloying different colors and karats of recycled gold, and milling my own gold sheet and wire.
Drawing on my Anatolian heritage, I create future heirlooms using ancient techniques. I love to create custom pieces using existing gemstones and gold, contact me if you would like to discuss a custom order.
Do you have a piece of jewelry that you absolutely love, and would like to know more about? Let me put my sleuthing skills to the task- combined with my goldsmithing experience and historical knowledge, I will uncover any history, information, and interesting facts that I can find. Each research session includes a personalized video where I explain what I was able to learn, and give you all of the juicy tidbits.
Please fill out the form below, complete with a short description of the piece that you are submitting, and I will respond via email within three days. Once I've received your submission, I will ask you to send me any photos and backstory that you might have about your piece, so that I can work my magic and find any historical information that is out there.
