Antique Victorian Cupid's Arrow Pin

Symbolizing instant, uncontrollable love and desire, the Cupid's Arrow motif shows up quite often in Victorian era jewelry. This pin is an absolutely stunning, oversized example of a love token, a very obvious symbol of loving and being loved. Made of silver, and set with Bohemian garnets, it is adorned with overlapping chains and small pendants in the shape of tassels. This pin likely dates to the 1880s or 1890s.

Pin measures 5.5" long and is in excellent condition. There appears to be a row of garnets missing from the end of the pin, but this doesn't detract from its beauty. The pin fastens with a simple C clasp.
