A timeless classic, these late 19th century earrings are made of dense clusters of bright red Mediterranean coral branches and "berries," set on silver wires. The earring hooks have been replaced with modern 14k leverbacks- I found these with modern gold fill replacements, which were not a good match for the coral. They most likely originally had silver hooks.
Coral clusters measure 1" at their longest point and 1" at their widest. They are in very good condition- there seems to be a single piece of coral missing from each earring, as there are a couple of silver "stems" with no coral at the end, but it is not visible from the front.
