I am forever fascinated by historic examples of convertible (often called day-to-night) earrings, where pendants can be removed to create a more casual earring style. Because jewelry has, historically, been made out of precious and expensive materials, it makes sense to create jewelry that can fit multiple needs and suit different occasions. This pair of earrings takes the concept of day-to-night earrings and turns them into something even more transformable- a pair of earrings that can be worn 7 different ways, by changing the order of, and removing, the pendants. Made out of sterling silver and 14k gold, and set with cultured freshwater pearls and antique Mediterranean coral, they are far more than just a pair of earrings, encompassing a versatile and practical collection of wearable styles.
