A delicate, dainty take on the ancient Roman crotalia earrings (named for the ancient Greek word for rattle or castanet, due to the noise they make when worn), these echo a style that was popular for over three centuries, with examples having been found at both Pompeii and Herculaneum. Made out of recycled 14k gold with antique, c. 1910 cultured pearls.
Earrings measure 1.25” long from top of hook to bottom of pearl pendants, and approximately 0.75” across each bar
