Sophia Watermelon Tourmaline Chandelier Earrings

A pair of dancing, dangling chandelier earrings inspired by Byzantine era styles, the Sophia earrings feature prong-set watermelon tourmaline, matching pink and green tourmaline, baroque seed pearls, and antique cultured pearls c. 1900 (some of the earliest cultured pearls!), rescued from a damaged brooch. Everything is set in recycled 14k yellow gold (the pink tourmaline dangle has a 14k rose gold base for its prong setting, to deepen the pink color). 

The earring closure is based on historical Byzantine styles, but please reach out if you have difficulty with this style of hook clasp, as the hoop can be changed for a different style.
