This charming little butterfly is ready to perch delicately on your favorite blouse, with beautifully detailed leaves and a vibrant combination of gems. Set with pink sapphire eyes, a cultured pearl head, and a beautifully mottled apple green and white jade body, each wing is intricately engraved. Made between the 1930s and 1960s, it is possibly of Chinese origin.
The butterfly is in perfect condition and measures just under 1.5" at its widest point, and 1.25" tall from the top curve of the antenna to the bottom wing. It is stamped 14k on the back of one wing.
